Manush Music & Art

The encounter of two dynamic musicians Malabika Brahma & Nilgün Aksoy in search of the routes between India and Anatolia resulted in the project Delhi Istanbul Express.
Together they write, compose, arrange and rearrange a repertoire of original and traditional compositions that combine the ancient modal traditions of Central Asia and India.

The aim of this project is to build, create, lead and perform together sharing the common essence of both the traditions and cultural backgrounds. Guest musicians from various genres are often invited in this project which further reflects a free and modern approach.
