Malabika Brahma

Malabika Brahma is an independent music professional ,creative artist & educator. She is a vocalist and composer specialized in the baul traditions of Bengal. Her music is a fusion of folk, blues and Indian classical music, influenced by Vedic Hinduism and Baul mystic minstrel tradition. Malabika tours regularly, performing at religious Ashrams and Akharas and community Melas, as well as popular music festivals across the world. She has recorded and collaborated with many renowned musicians independently as well as through projects like Baul Meets Saz.

She has been a part of the much acclaimed International Cultural Exchange programs of the U.S. Department of State's Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs, One Beat and Next Level. 2013 - 2015 representing the baul traditions of Bengal. Describing her musical ethos, Malabika explains, “LOVE, LIVE, LET LIVE is the true essence of my philosophy.”

Malabika believes if one can talk , one can sing as well !

Since years she has shared her knowledge with others through Jungle Music School in India. Her singing courses offers a transformative experience that focuses on discovering your inner voice, singing together, and finding comfort in each other's voices. Her method is quite unique and concerns on finding the inner peace and a deeper connection to oneself and to others.
